It was a warm, sunny day for traveling from Congress to Quartzsite. We stopped in Hope for a bit and visit friends RVing there.
We’re looking forward to a bit of drywashing and metal detecting. On our trip here last year we did find a half dozen small nuggets.
Drop by and visit if your in the area. Take Exit 11 (Dome Rock Rd) just west of Quartzsite on I-10. Follow Dome Rock Rd. back to the east for about 1.2 miles and were on a rise on the right. Look for the motorhome.
I like this website and your articles. I am a novice at metal detecting and I plan to come up to Quartzsite on Superbowl weekend. I appreciate if you can point me in the right direction where I might start my search.
